Molly Hayes[1] Hernandez is a main character on Runaways. Ten years prior, Molly was left an orphan due to a fire that killed her parents, Gene and Alice Hernandez. Afterwards, Dale and Stacey Yorkes adopted her and raised her as one of their own, making Gert Yorkes her older, adoptive sister.[2]
Character Description[]
The youngest and most innocent member of her friend group, is known for her peppy positivity and a deep yearning to belong.[3]
Strong-willed and perceptive, Molly isn't afraid to tell it like she sees it, even if the others think maybe things would be better if she kept her mouth closed every once in a while.[4]

Physical Appearance[]
Skills and Abilities[]
Molly possesses inhuman super-strength, far beyond that of any other girl or average adult. She first began to develop these abilities when she started puberty and has since learned that it can be triggered by stress or whenever she's scared. Not only can she push and lift medium-sized cars, she can kick adult-sized deinonychus off from herself as well as push large construction equipment, such as a dump truck, short distances. Currently, her strength is unparalleled. A unique feature of her gifts is that her eyes glow bright yellow when she taps into her strength. However, given her advanced strength, she quickly tires from the the use of her abilities. Besides fatigue, pushing her limits can cause her to pass out for short periods of time.
